The Simics Command Line Interface (CLI) is an advanced text based user interface with built-in help system, context sensitive tab-completion, and scripting support (both built-in and for use with Python). It is provided as part of Simics.
If Simics graphical user interface (GUI) is used, the CLI is
accessible via the Simics Control window (Tools → Command
Line Window). When running Simics without a GUI, the CLI is accessible
directly at the command line/shell where Simics is started.
